Meeting of Dr. Zuhair bin Hussein Ghoneim, Secretary-General of the International Federation of Muslim Scouts and Chairman of the Council’s Information Committee, with the Permanent Ambassador of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to the State of Iraq === The Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Mr. Muhammad Samir Al-Naqshbandi, received the Secretary-General of the International Federation of Muslim Scouts, Dr. Zuhair Hussein Ghoneim, in the consulate building Public meeting on Monday, 1/29/2024. During which the Secretary-General reviewed the need to activate the role of scouting, which contributes to building the character of Muslim youth, and introducing non-Muslim youth to Islam and its tolerant principles, as well as encouraging and coordinating social, humanitarian, educational and cultural activities among Muslim youth.For his part, the Permanent Representative expressed the importance of involving Iraqi youth in the activities held by the Union, the necessity of strengthening communication and coordination with the Ministry of Education and the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports, benefiting from scouting activities, events and camps, and paying attention to the youth and scouting movement to develop brotherhood and acquaintance among Muslim youth.
