Functions of the General Secretariat

 The General Secretariat, under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Council, shall undertake the following matters:

1) Preparatory work for conferences and meetings of the Council and other committees and communicate its decisions to the members.

2) Requesting members' suggestions before convening the conference or council.

3) The work of the Council’s secretariat, its meetings, conferences and other committees, and the invitation to members.

4) Submit an annual report to the Council on its work.

5) Preparing the draft budget and final account.

6) Coordinating and printing the proposals and sending them to the members at least one month before the convening of the council or conference.

7) Implementation of the decisions and recommendations of the Council.

8) Provide the members of the Council with the information and suggestions it receives.
