A statement issued by the International Islamic Council for Preaching and Relief regarding the current events in the Gaza Strip
The International Islamic Council for Preaching and Relief is following with great interest and concern what the Gaza Strip is being exposed to - the attacks carried out by the Israeli forces against the Palestinian people, and the imposition of a comprehensive siege on the Gaza Strip. The Council also strongly condemns the Israeli aggression and raids on the Gaza Strip, and the International Islamic Council for Advocacy and Relief senses the serious dangers that the state of tension and tension resulting from these practices pose to the Palestinian people, which imposes on all Arab and Islamic peoples, and peoples who love justice and peace, solidarity with the people. Palestinians and support his steadfast position, defending truth, legitimacy, peace and stability.Since the establishment of the International Islamic Council for Preaching and Relief, its positions towards the Palestinian issue have been clear in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, rejecting and denouncing the hostile policies and measures against them, and making endeavors and efforts to resolve the Palestine issue in a just solution that secures the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to return to their homeland and establish their independent state. It ensures Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories, most notably Al-Quds Al-Sharif.The Council calls on the international community and humanitarian and relief organizations to work to provide and deliver urgent humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the besieged Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Statement of the International Center for Research on Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah “On James Webb Space Images”
Members of the scientific committees of the International Center for Research on Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah followed the images taken by the James Webb Space Telescope, in light of previous scientific discoveries in this aspect.And it became clear to the members of the center beyond any doubt that this event is nothing but a scientific discovery in a series of previous scientific discoveries, all of which seek to monitor what is in the universe, and every discovery exceeds its predecessor, and it has been found that this discovery will be followed by discoveries and will never reach to monitor the expansion of the universe, God says Glory be to Him, may He be glorified and exalted be He (and the heavens We built with hands, and indeed we are enlarged) [Al-Dhariyat: 47]: (ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ) [الملك: 4] ولقوله سبحانه وتعالى: (وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَاطِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ) [الملك:5].The center confirms that the scientific discoveries, although they are all in the lowest heaven, which is one of the seven heavens, no matter how advanced these discoveries are, they will not reach the observation of everything in the universe, and it came in the right hadith (By Him in whose hand my soul is, what are the seven heavens and the seven earths at the chair except as a ring). lying in a deserted land) i.e. in a desert of the earth, so the universe is God’s creation, and no one has ever witnessed His creation because of the Almighty’s saying(مَّا أَشْهَدتُّهُمْ خَلْقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَا خَلْقَ أَنفُسِهِمْ) [الكهف:51] وسيظل عطاء القرآن الكريم فياضاً لقول الله سبحانه وتعالى: (قُل لَّوْ كَانَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِّكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّي لَنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَاتُ رَبِّي وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِ مَدَدًا) [الكهف:109] And every new scientific discovery increases us with certainty that the Qur’an is the word of God and that he is the one in control of his kingdom and kingdom alone, and in his hand is the beginning, the end, and the reckoning.

Al-Azhar condemns mosque bombing in Pakistan
Al-Azhar condemns the bombing of a mosque in Pakistan.. It affirms: Corruption on earth and war against God and His MessengerAl-Azhar Al-Sharif expresses its strong condemnation of the abhorrent terrorist attack on a house of God in the city of Peshawar, and its bombing during a gathering of worshipers to perform Friday prayers, which resulted in the killing and injury of dozens of worshipers.Al-Azhar affirms that bombing mosques is corruption on earth and war against God and His Messenger, which are brutal crimes, and they dare to violate the sanctities of God and one of his homes, indicating that the perpetrators are stripped of the slightest meanings of religiosity, mercy and humanity.Al-Azhar Al-Sharif extends its sincere condolences to the leadership, government and people of the Republic of Pakistan, and to the families of the victims of this terrorist bombing, asking God Almighty to place the victims of the tragic accident in His spacious gardens, to grant their families patience and solace, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.

Zakat House continues to distribute the gift of the Sheikh of Al-Azhar to students of schools and institutes
The Egyptian House of Zakat and Charities announced the continuation of distributing the gift of His Eminence the Great Imam Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to orphans and people of determination in public and Al-Azhar schools, on the occasion of the start of the new school year 2021/2022 AD, presented through the Egyptian House of Zakat and Charities. Today, Sunday, a new batch of school bags arrived in the Al-Azhar region of Giza with their supplies of stationery, and immediately began preparing and filling these bags, to be distributed to orphans and people of determination in public and Al-Azhar schools for the primary and preparatory stages at the Giza governorate level, after the distribution had already been done to the departments of Giza. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education in Giza and is being distributed to students of Al-Azhar institutes.

Al-Azhar receives the works participating in the international caricature competition with the participation of the world's leading caricature artists
The Center for the Development of the Education of International and Foreign Students in Al-Azhar continues to receive the artworks participating in the “Al-Azhar International Caricature Competition” in its first session, which is held under the patronage of the Grand Imam Prof. Al-Azhar Undersecretary, on the sidelines of the first Al-Azhar International Caricature Forum.Dr. Nahla Al-Saeedi, General Supervisor of the Center for the Development of Education for International and Foreign Students in Al-Azhar, said that the center has received through the e-mail designated for the competition so far more than 300 artworks (caricatures), including works from the world's top caricaturists, in this competition, which comes as a starting point. From Al-Azhar’s global message, which aims to spread the culture of coexistence and peace and confront extremist and deviant ideology throughout its long history spanning more than a thousand years,Emphasizing that Islam does not fight the arts, but rather guides and directs them in the direction that promotes taste and humanity, and that religion and art are two main components of human culture throughout the ages. The Al-Azhar International Caricature Contest aims to emphasize that the religion of Islam calls for Peace, tolerance, human brotherhood and acceptance of the other.It does not call at all to violence, extremism and terrorism as depicted by the phenomenon of "Islamophobia" made, and to exploit the popular art of many people to correct the wrong image that some drew and attached to Islam, while spreading the principles of the historical document (the Document of Human Fraternity for World Peace and Coexistence),In addition to raising a generation from different countries of the world, with different cultures and ideologies, that defends moderate thought and tolerant human values and principles through caricatures and full attention and care for international students at Al-Azhar, especially those who are creative in the art of drawing. The competition is divided into several sectionsThe first is the “caricature” section, which revolves around a number of values and principles advocated by the “Document of Human Fraternity for World Peace and Coexistence.” Among its most important axes is belief in God and his worship, the danger of religious and national extremism, the importance of awakening a moderate religious sense, and justice based on mercy. The basis of a decent life, protection of places of worship, hateful terrorism is not a product of religion and others.As for the second section of the competition, it comes under the title “Portrait - non-caricatured portrait”, and this section of the competition revolves around a portrait drawing that brings together His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican.The most important conditions of the competition are that the maximum participant should submit 3 drawings in each section of the competition, the work size should be 3A, and the work size should not exceed 2 MB, the work should be sent in JPG format (300 dpi), and the participant should send a short CV Do not exceed 3 lines, his address, contact methods, and his full bank account, and the artist's name, nationality, and country should be written on the submitted work.In addition, the portrait drawing is required to indicate the brotherhood and affection that characterize the meetings of the Grand Imam with His Holiness Pope Francis, knowing that the decisions of the jury are final and may not be objected to, and a certificate of participation will be delivered to all artists whose works have been accepted with the work of a booklet that includes the works The participating parties and a profile of each artist, and the screening and arbitration committees will exclude works that do not comply with the terms of the competition, or that do not respect the values and principles.The winners will receive a certificate of thanks and appreciation from the Grand Imam, Sheikh of Al-Azhar for the winners of the first three places, and the first place winner will receive 1500 dollars, the second will receive 1000 dollars, and the third will receive 750 dollars.
